Why it's best NOT to shoot
a booth image at an art show

I know this may seem like an extreme example, but I've seen worse. A good example of why the walls need to be rolled down so you can't see distracting items through the booth. And it's always better to shoot your booth slide in your driveway or backyard where you can control all the elements. Scroll down to see the improved booth after being photographed in the artist's driveway.

At my suggestion the artist set the booth up in their driveway for the photograph. I was able to clean it up so they have a good jury image (bottom).


original out of camera image may seem too dark
but it adjusts correctly in Photoshop


Color corrected, brightness adjusted and the floor cleaned up
