I learned about Tommy Emmanuel on the acoustic guitar forum. When I found out he was going to be in Pittsburgh on February 26th I was able to get seats about 20 feet from the stage. The meet and greet was sold out but I took Ron Pullman, a Pittsburgh musician. Through his connections, we were able to get on the list to see Tommy before the show.

I haven’t had as much fun since seeing the Dead in the 70’s. He did all the songs I wanted to hear after seeing countless YouTube videos. By the way, there is no comparison between seeing the videos and watching him live. It was an amazing experience.
