    Fixing Jury Images 01

From time to time I’m going to post examples of either my jury slide photography or jury images I’ve fixed.

Here’s an example of a glass vessel that was photographed in an art gallery.

    The correction
I color corrected it and fixed enough of the reflections to make it non distracting, but left enough so that you can still tell it’s reflective glass. Then the vessel was cut out and dropped into a graduated background and real shadowing added to make it look as though it was photographed in a photographers studio.

There are more examples on the fixing jury image page. And examples of fixing images that artists took in their own booths.
