Are You a Picasso
Occasionally I get a phone call asking about a photograph found when a relative passed away or something they picked up at a flea market. Even more often, I come across some of my older photographs on eBay, usually offered at a higher price than I sold it for at art shows years ago.
Today I got a call from someone who purchased a small 5×7 print at a garage sale and wanted to know if it had any value. “Are you a Picasso” he wanted to know. I explained that I sold the print he purchased about thirty years ago for $5 at an art show, but that doesn’t mean I’m not a Picasso. I just haven’t been discovered yet.
Based on the description of the image, I assume it was this sunrise photograph I took at Chatham on Cape Cod.
you can see more of my photographs like this in my film gallery.
