| My father passed away in March and I've cancelled all his
insurance policies. Not wanting to take no for an answer, I received a
letter from Standard Life, addressed to the estate of.... The letter
explained how important health insurance was and that they had changed the
address on the policy to mine (which I gave them as executer when I
cancelled the policy) to make sure my father could continue making
payments. |
| This is just another example of clueless companies not knowing how to
treat policies of people that pass away. |

Message to the insurance industry - when you have to change
the name on a policy to "the estate of..." it means the person passed
away. |
