FrontPage 2000 Memory Error Message |
Started around Feb 25th, 2004
I'm running Windows 2000 Professional with
all the latest service packs and patches. This is on a Dell Inspiron 8000
with a 1 GHz processor and 256 megs of ram. This started last week. When I
open a page on a web site site live and Save As, I get the following error
message: |
The instruction at "0x3092bbad"
referenced memory at "0x06d5689b". The memory could not be "read".
Click on OK to terminate the program
Click on Cancel to debug the program |
Then no matter which I choose, FrontPage
shuts down. |
|
I've spent hours researching the error
message and found many references, but no one who has said that they have
a solution that has worked. I've spent four hours running diagnostics of
my hard drive and memory to no avail. I've defragged the hard drive and
have even done a complete uninstall of FrontPage 2000 and reinstalled it.
I do have both FrontPage 2002 and 2003 on the computer but I started
having trouble with FrontPage 2002 about a month ago. When I open one of
my web sites live in FrontPage 2002, there is absolutely nothing on each
page. But it opens properly in the other versions of FrontPage I have.
