Welcome to the February issue of the Berman Maher Newsletter.
If you are a photographer who has considered exhibiting your work at a juried art show, you should check out the new forum we started on Yahoo Groups. The Art Show Photography forum is a great place to ask questions and get answers from working professional artists and photographers. Topics open for discussion cover all aspects of selling photography at art shows, including taking photos that sell, working with different printing processes, preparing photographs for display, display equipment, preparation of jury slides, how to apply for shows, and especially the introduction of digital processing into the work flow. In particular one topic recently discussed is how to get high quality jury slides from digital files.

Check it out at http://groups.yahoo.com/group/artshow_photo/

We have also set up a companion web site of resources at http://ArtShowPhoto.com

Every member of the forum can set up a free page to display some images and describe their work as well as link to their own web site.

Chris has been creating many new black and white infrared photographs, and has begun offering them on eBay. His subjects range from ethereal landscapes to dream like nudes. Bids start at only $12 so if you ever considered buying some fine art at auction, now would be a great time! Check out a list of his current auctions.

If you want to be among the first to know when new work is put up for auction, sign up for the InfraRedDreams.com mailing list.

Finally, if you are one of the fortunate 2 million who received the Coldwater Creek North Country Spring catalog in the mail, check out Larry's photos on page 22.

That’s all for this month,

Chris Maher and Larry Berman
