FrontPage 2000 Memory Error Message
Started around Feb 25th, 2004
I'm running Windows 2000 Professional with all the latest service packs and patches. This is on a Dell Inspiron 8000 with a 1 GHz processor and 256 megs of ram. This started last week. When I open a page on a web site site live and Save As, I get the following error message:
The instruction at "0x3092bbad" referenced memory at "0x06d5689b". The memory could not be "read".
Click on OK to terminate the program
Click on Cancel to debug the program
Then no matter which I choose, FrontPage shuts down.
I've spent hours researching the error message and found many references, but no one who has said that they have a solution that has worked. I've spent four hours running diagnostics of my hard drive and memory to no avail. I've defragged the hard drive and have even done a complete uninstall of FrontPage 2000 and reinstalled it. I do have both FrontPage 2002 and 2003 on the computer but I started having trouble with FrontPage 2002 about a month ago. When I open one of my web sites live in FrontPage 2002, there is absolutely nothing on each page. But it opens properly in the other versions of FrontPage I have. Related problems? Who knows...
