Canon SD870 Infrared

Canon SD870 infrared gallery

I had a $300 credit from Crutchfield sitting in my desk for the past year and didn't want it to go to waste. I've been shooting infrared with a converted CoolPix 8400 for the past year and love the results. After doing some research, I decided to use my Crutchfield credit to purchase a small pocket size camera from the list of cameras that LifePixel will convert for infrared. The Canon SD870 is the only camera on the list (that is currently in production) that has 28mm at the wide end of the zoom and is actually pocket size.

I use the Ricoh GR Digital as my everyday camera and shoot digital infrared with the CoolPix 8400 which I've had converted by LifePixel.
