We're planning a trip to shoot Southwest panoramics with the CoolPix 5000 in May

I am currently experimenting with Kaidan panoramic heads, which they were kind enough to loan me for the CoolPix 950, 990 and 5000. The stitching program I'm using on these images is from PanaVue which is advertised to be capable of high resolution printing, as well as for web publishing.

Taken with the CoolPix 5000 in a horizontal position with a Bogen #3415 QTVR Kit panoramic head
It appears to be the only commercial head that allows shooting horizontally, as well as vertically
