Nikon Accessory Lenses for the CoolPix 8400 |
CoolPix 8400 Infrared *
Nikon CoolPix 8400 Resources |
Nikon put together a great CoolPix
8400 system for one year before it became discontinued. Besides
the 6 AA battery pack on the
tips page, They produced four accessory lenses. The TC-E3PF (and
TC-E3ED not shown) 3x telephoto lens for a 35mm equivalent of 255mm.
the WC-E75 wide angle with a 35mm equivalent of 18mm, and the FC-E9
fisheye. I do wish there was a rear adapter screw in cap (I'll take
four) so the adapters could be left on the accessory lenses all the
time. |

Comparison of the lenses mounted on the CoolPix 8400 |
to keep things in perspective, I've
kept the CoolPix 8400 sized the same in each image so you can
accurately see the physical difference in the three accessory lenses |

The FC-E9 is zoomable out to full frame by taking the camera out of
the fisheye mode but keeping it set on macro |
