publications The printed result of plates, stone or screen, that are
handcrafted, is considered original work when properly registered, signed
and numbered. The final interpretation of commercial status will be made
by the Viewing
Committee.
--Giclée or other reproductions enhanced or altered by the artist,
including paint, pencil, pastel, collage, etc.

--Artwork reproduced from works of masters, advertisements, photographs or
offset prints |

2002 Artist Application
Digital Art:
Includes any original work in which the original image, or the
manipulation of other source material, was executed by the artist using
the computer. Work must be in editions, signed and numbered, on archival
paper.
Photography:
Black and white original negatives and prints must be developed by the
artist. Color negatives must be developed under the artist's direct
supervision, and prints made from the original negatives must be processed
by the artist. Photographers should limit themselves to showing images in
no more than three sizes.
Absolutely no reproductions are allowed. |

12th Annual (2002)
Digital Art:
This category includes any original work for which
the original image, or the manipulation of other source material, was
executed by the artist using a computer. Work in this category must be in
limited editions, signed and numbered on archival quality materials.
Photography:
Photographic prints made from the artist's original negative and which
have been processed by that artist, or under his or her direct supervision
are included in this category. Photographers are required to disclose both
their creative and printing processes. |

Original Art Vs. Reproduction
Only original artwork is allowed at the festival. No
reproductions are allowed. If a work of art already exists (as a painting,
watercolor, drawing, photograph, or whatever) and is copied by digital or
photographic means and printed on an offset press, a serigraph press or
through a computer by means of an inkjet or electrostatic printer, this
would be a reproduction. This includes giclees. Ink jet or giclee prints
are not allowed in any category other than the digital art category.
Photography:
All developing and printing of photographs must be done by the artist or
under the direct supervision of the artist. |

All work must be hand originals created by the exhibiting artist. No
reproductions are allowed. Photographers must print their own photographs.
If a work of art already exists and is copied by digital or photographic
