Pull out scanner shelf

It's always a struggle to keep my office efficient and functional. I usually end up with piles of "stuff" everywhere and have a difficult time not misplacing important papers. With a growing graphics business, I've ordered a new computer so I can set up a second work station. In order to free up the desk space for the new monitor, I created a slide out under desk shelf for my 35mm slide scanner and flatbed scanner.

I used drawer slides from Home Depot which allow the 24" plywood shelf to fully extend from under the desk.

I should add that my office is the second bedroom and it's shelved out on three walls with 35" solid core doors. That's why there's no problem for my desk to support dual 85 pound monitors, or anything else I can put on it.
